THE VEEFRIENDS GOLDEN GARYBEE CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN

Contest Period: The VeeFriends Golden GaryBee Contest (the “Contest”) starts on December 20, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on September 3, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Contest Period”).

Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older as of date of entry (“Entrant”). Employees of Vee Friends, LLC (“Sponsor”), their respective affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, divisions, suppliers, distributors and advertising or promotional agencies (collectively with the Sponsor, the “Contest Entities”), and its affiliates and each of their respective employees, shareholders, directors, officers, members, assigns and agents and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to win. Void where prohibited by law. Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.

How to Enter the Contest:

Via Purchase and QR Code: Purchase a VeeFriends Mini from a specially-marked VeeFriends Vending Machine. Vending Machines are randomly distributed across the 50 U.S./DC. In the vending machines, there are three hundred thirty-five (335) “Golden GaryBee” figures. If you obtain a “Golden GaryBee” figure, scan the affixed QR code and follow the instructions to register the figure (to receive the associated gift, redeemable at the VeeFriends shop). You must then complete the registration form and upload your Drawing to receive one (1) entry (the “Purchase Entry”) into the Contest.
Via Mail-in: Without making a purchase or if you do not receive a “Golden GaryBee” figure, on a plain piece of 3” x 5” paper, hand-print your complete name, street address (no P.O. Boxes), city, state, zip code, valid email address, a line that states, “I attest that I am 18 years of age or older”, and your original Drawing. Mail all components in a hand-addressed, business-size (#10) envelope with first-class postage affixed, to: VeeFriends Golden GaryBee Contest, P.O. Box 7814, Melville, NY 11775-7814 (“Mail-in Entry”) to receive one (1) entry into the Contest.

Limit one (1) Entry per person regardless of method of Entry. Purchase Entries and Mail-in Entries will be collectively referred to as “Entries”. Entries that do not meet the requirements set forth in these Official Rules will be disqualified. All Entries must be completed and submitted by 11:59 p.m. ET on September 3, 2025, to be eligible. Suspected use of any AI, automated or computer system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification.

Entry Guidelines:

Entry must be drawn by free hand, not traced.
Entry may not contain trademarked material or other third-party materials except VeeFriends characters, or any identifying information of any person or entity other than you.
Content must not promote illegal activity, violence, or any political agenda, nor be offensive, profane, or derogatory.
Entry must be in English and must not have been submitted previously in a contest or exhibited publicly beyond your immediate circle.

Any Entry deemed inappropriate or unsuitable, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, will be disqualified.

Judging to Determine Winner and Notification/Verification:

Throughout the Contest Period, all eligible Entries will be judged by a Sponsor-specified panel based on: Creativity – 30%, Relevance to Theme – 30%, Best depiction of the character – 40%. Potential winner will be notified by email/DocuSign and must return a Declaration within twenty-four (24) hours of notification attempt.

Prize and Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”):

One (1) Grand Prize: A six (6) day/five (5) night trip for two (2) to attend NYCC 2025, including round-trip economy air transportation, hotel accommodations, and tickets to Comic Con 2025. ARV: $3,000.

Grand Prize Rules:

Travel must be taken on specified dates. All expenses not listed, including taxes, meals, and incidentals, are the winner’s sole responsibility.

General Rules:

By participating, Entrants/Winner agree to these Official Rules. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for any technical issues, lost entries, or human error. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or acts disruptively. Entries must be original and not violate any third-party rights.

Release and Grant of Rights:

By entering, you grant the Sponsor and their designees a worldwide, perpetual license to use your Entry and personal content for promotional and commercial uses without further compensation. You agree to defend and indemnify the Sponsor against third-party claims arising out of your Entry.

Disputes:

This Contest and these Official Rules are governed by New York law. Entrants agree that any dispute shall be brought in the state and federal courts in New York.
